Jagran Film Festival is one of the world’s largest travelling film festivals rooted in India.

Started in 2010, the festival is a Jagran Prakashan Group initiative aimed at promoting the appreciation of the cinematic art to and beyond the major metro cities of India.

JFF fosters a culture of cinema and creates a stage where film makers and movie buffs come together to experience the world of cinema. Audiences get an opportunity to interact with national and international cast and crew, listen to their in-conversation and participate in question and answer session.

We receive over 5000+ entries every year across 72 countries. All the eligible films are previewed by country’s one of the best preview panelists and through a selection process, handpicked 500 films are screened in the festival over 100 days.

JFF is inaugurated by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India at New Delhi and travels across 11 states of India, which constitutes over 500 million people.

Through the competition process, judged by one of the best panel of judges under various categories, we honor film makers and artists for their outstanding work and achievements in their respective fields of cinema with awards and cash prize during the award night at the Tinsel Town Mumbai.
